Carbon Steel WPHY Dish Cap Fittings can be annealed to make it resistant to joint deterioration. It is offered in a variety of gauges and is widely used in heavy gauge riveted components. It is a heat-resistant alloy and an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy with greater erosion resistance than other related chromium-nickel alloys when exposed to various kinds of chemical corrodes such as brine solutions, sea water, and so on. As a molybdenum-containing stainless, it is significantly more impervious to sulphuric acid and phosphoric acid solutions than other austenitic types. Because it includes chromium and nickel, it is extremely impervious to oxidation and corrosion.
